I won’t talk about those pesky womens’ issues, Ann Romney says with a snarl

Posted by & filed under Uncategorized.

She and Mitt just can’t help it, can they?  They can’t sound sincere when they talk about You Peoples’ suffering because, well, they have no clue what You Peoples’ suffering is all about.  But hey, she has MS, and it was designed to make her a more compassionate, humane person.  It’s been a “cruel teacher,” but here she is, ready to share in You Peoples’ suffering.  You can watch David Gregory’s interview with Ann and Mitt Romney here.

But here’s the thing:  To hear Ann Romney tell it, her message to women is to trust Mitt, he won’t fail you, he will work harder and smarter to make all of You Peoples’ lives better.  Except she won’t talk about things that matter to women and other equality-minded folks – like contraceptive coverage, gay marriage, lesbian adoption, and the myriad of social issues that Mitt has pontificated against.  He’s gonna shut down Planned Parenthood, repeal Obamacare on Day One, and as for gay marriage – I’m sure his prophet person in the Mormon Church has told him it ain’t cool to have dudes marrying dudes.  Watch Ann Romney’s very snarly, sneering interview in Iowa, her claim to support women on the one hand (which she couldn’t if she wanted to, because her husband clearly doesn’t), and her refusal to worry her pretty head about the big stuff on the other:

If we told her there’s no throne in the White House, do you think she might change her mind about wanting to live there?

I hope she keeps sticking her feet in her mouth. We should pay her to keep it up! Thanks for shining a light on her and keep it up!

I think we can count on it, Melissa . . . she’s too arrogant to know when to STFU.

Everytime Ann Romney opens her mouth, Outer Space loses part of it’s precious vacuum.
